Adult Program

A unique feature of Hillel Children's Workshop is the concurrent Adult Program. While the children are in their classrooms, parents participate in energetic and lively sessions on the premises. Guest speakers lecture and facilitate discussion on a broad range of Jewish issues. There is no additional cost for this program.

Past speakers have included:
- An editor of the Toronto Sun
- The director of the Toronto Jewish Film Festival
- An Ontario Court Judge
- Playwright-in-residence of the Tarragon Theatre
- Jewish filmmakers
- Professors from the University of Toronto
- CBC radio / television host
- A diverse selection of visual and literary artists

As Hillel Children's Workshop is a co-operative, non-profit organization, all parents are encouraged to play some role in helping to facilitate the program by filling a variety of volunteer positions.
